I am a dedicated, approachable and passionate educator with extensive experience in secondary and post-16 education as well in the public and commercial sectors. My approach is based on years of one-to-one work with students who have required individual, tailored and supportive learning. I am skilled in understanding, assessing and creating tailored education plans for students based on their specific needs and very much enjoy ensuring my lessons are down to earth, fun and informative. I really like making sure my students are given regular feedback, tips and tricks to improve their exam prospects and study skills.

I have expertise in both academic and lifestyle areas including Life Coaching, Study Skills, Personal Development, Creative Thinking/ Writing and Mindfulness. My work has been published in technical and professional books/journals and I am currently nearing the end of my PhD and have international level public speaking, research, teaching and communication skills gained at the highest level of public and governmental contexts. I am also currently Academic Advisor for a NATO Training Centre, where I design and deliver training for professionals from various backgrounds and ability levels. Formerly I have been Assistant Head Teacher (Secondary) and Head of Subject (College).
