APOLOGIES, I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANY AVAILABILITY AS I AM ALREADY TUTORING STUDENTS FOR THEIR GCSE ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXAMS.


I have a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (French, German and Russian), a PGCE and an MA in English Language Teaching. I also hold QTLS, am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and have an enhanced DBS. I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher who puts the learners` needs and interests at the heart of the learning process. I consistently receive a grade one from the Quality Team at my institution for my teaching and am considered to be an exemplar of excellent practice.

I will be studying for a PhD in Education in October 2017 and currently have limited availability but I would love to hear from you if you feel I could be of benefit.

Availability: Tuesday evening between 7 and 8pm
Wednesday evening between 7 and 8pm
Looking to tutor in the Bexley area only with easy access via public transport from North Greenwich station.

Experience: I am a teacher/teacher trainer with over twenty years` experience. I first started teaching English as an additional language to children and teenagers in the Czech Republic and I now teach academic English to learners (14+). I am also responsible for co-ordinating teaching training progammes and deliver the PGCE, CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching) and Award in English for Language and Literacy courses. My main areas of specialism are English grammar, academic skills (reading and writing) and phonology. I also examine for AQA GCSE English language, Cambridge English and Trinity College London.

I currently tutor KS3 and KS3 learners in English. Observing the learners` progress has been an incredibly rewarding experience and would love to continue supporting learners with English language.
