I am a 23-year-old French and Culture graduate of University College London. I graduated from UCL with a first-class bachelor’s degree last summer, meaning my academic experience and skills are both fresh and current.

I have an in-depth, academic knowledge of both French and English grammar. I am well versed in technical and literary French translation as well as literary, cinematic and philosophical analysis. I have lived in France and have first-hand understanding of the difficulties and nuances of the French language and accent, enabling me to share my experiences and boost confidence in language learning.

Given the COVID-19 outbreak, I understand that there is a lot of uncertainty for students regarding their schooling as well as pressure on parents to home-school. I would be delighted to help alleviate some of these concerns by providing French and English tutoring over Skype, as well as assisting with essay writing and feedback on coursework – particularly as teachers are currently less available than they ordinarily would be during normal term time.

Availability: My schedule is very flexible and given that tutoring will take place via Skype, I will be able to suit your availability.

Experience: I have experience tutoring primary and secondary school pupils, aiding their language learning. I am also an experienced proof-reader and copyeditor, having been editor of school and university magazines as well as a contributor for global travel publications such as Culture Trip. I have a keen eye for detail, a thorough knowledge of UK and French spelling and grammar as well as the conventions of proof correction, enabling me to assist students with essay writing from secondary school age through to degree-level.
