Information about Helen

I am a caring and conscientious qualified teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. It is important to me that my students enjoy learning whilst gaining confidence, making good progress in their studies and fulfilling their potential. I trained as a teacher, graduating with a B Ed (Hons) teaching degree.
I try to make each lesson friendly and relaxed, whilst maintaining high standards in learning. I provide a range of activities to aid learning, as relevant to the requirements of each student and taking into account different learning styles.

Experience: As a qualified teacher, I have taught in schools for over 20 years and I have over 8 years experience of tutoring maths up to GCSE higher tier and have provided tuition for FSMQ (Additional maths). I have been tutoring online for over 5 years. I also have experience of tutoring two prospective pilots helping them to pass their FATs and helping a trainee midwife with the maths needed for drugs calculations.

Helen is an excellent tutor. Always friendly and punctual in terms of attending the lessons as well as speedy in responding to any queries. Helen has been a great help to my daughter and I would not hesitate in recommending Helen.
