Hi there! I am an Imperial College London graduate with a first class MSci degree in Mathematics and am currently working full time as a tutor. In sixth form I achieved A*s in both the Maths and Further Maths A-levels, receiving the Mathematics Prize for attaining the highest mark in the year.

Experience: I have over 4 years of tutoring experience including GCSE Maths, A-Level Maths and Further Maths, and also mentoring students in pure maths at degree level. During this time, I have worked with students struggling to grasp certain concepts and also those looking to be pushed beyond the curriculum, and as such I adapt my lessons to meet each individual student`s goals and needs.

Each of my lessons is structured based on the needs of the student. I will generally set out one or two main learning objectives at the start of each lesson. I like to start lessons by discussing the planned material and its context, aiming to identify and communicate the best way to approach the topic for the student.

I firmly believe in a personal, tailored approach to learning and aim to give a wider context to the material being studied where possible. To this end, I often set short, individually crafted homework tasks for my students which reinforce the learning done in lessons and which also boost the student`s confidence in tackling problems independently.
