Information about Caitlin
I not only want to educate students, but to enrich, excite and enlighten them. I want to instil
a passion for a subject, a subject which they cannot help but come back for more. My own
inspiration for teaching comes predominately from my A-Level psychology teachers; I found
it fascinating how they could take words from pages and turn them into fun but educational
activities. They taught me that not all education has to come from a white board; an
assertion that has been further strengthened by observing IB psychology lessons and seeing
the interest and engagement from students, who have a true thirst for the psychology. I
want to teach students to, not only engage with materials, but to think critically and become
independent learners: skills which will excel them in their adult life.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I am a psychology teacher and have been tutoring KS2, 11 plus, GCSE Maths and A-level/GCSE Psychology for the last four years. I have a specialism in SEN, in particular with visual and hearing impairment, dyslexia and processing speeds. All prices are inclusive of materials and travel cost.
