Connor

Hi, I`m Connor. I am a qualified Science & Maths teacher and experienced private tutor (both online and in-person). I specialise in exam techniques to help students reach or surpass their target grades. I also work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.

I have a PGCE in secondary science from the University of Brighton and a first class degree in Radiotherapy and Oncology from Sheffield Hallam University. I am also currently studying for a master`s in health studies with education.

My teaching approach is student-focused and individualised. I use real-world examples to underpin scientific principles, and then use practice questions to prepare students for the assessment. Many students do not meet their potential grades due to poor exam technique, so improving this is one of my priorities.

Availability: During term time I am available weekday evenings and Sundays. During school holidays I can be flexible with sessions during the day or in the evenings on weekdays and Sundays.

Experience: I have much experience, both online and in-person tutoring GCSE Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. I am familiar with all exam boards and currently tutor both foundation students and those aiming for a 9.
