SPECIAL DAYTIME RATE (before 4pm)
Hi, I am supportive and challenging with lots of encouragement, giving students the help they need to achieve and enjoy maths.
As a tutor I see my role as helping students become confident in GCSE maths and addressing areas that they may struggle with. My approach depends on what each student needs, as well as providing a good structure for improving and progressing. I am enthusiastic and aim to give oodles of encouragement and some challenge wherever it is needed.
A passion for learning as well as motivating and communicating with people has been a fundamental part of my life for a long time. I have used maths through-out my career and know how important it is for everyone to have the analytical abilities that maths gives, at whatever level they need them. I also see Maths as a part of everyday life. I believe that everyone can learn and do maths.
I also work with adults of all ages on CVs and job applications.
