Information about Teresa
I received my PhD from the University of Oxford and now work in scientific research. My original degree is in Mathematics and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and communicating the subject to others in a clear and concise way.
Availability: Weekday evenings (after 7pm) and weekends
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Whilst completing my PhD I tutored maths to undergraduates in groups of 2-4. Since completing my PhD I have tutored A level maths in the evenings and at weekends (I also tutored maths at both GCSE and A Level standard during the holidays of my undergraduate degree, to students of all abilities).

Teresa is a very professional, thorough, kind and helpful maths tutor. She is very knowledgeable and in the months she has been tutoring my daughter feedback is that she explains things extremely clearly and researches lessons to pitch them at the level of the learner, encouraging and explaining difficult concepts thoroughly. My daughter is now even enjoying maths and growing in confidence and I highly recommend Teresa

Teresa is a incredible teacher. She doesn`t only take time to explain and make sure that the student understands and knows how to resolve complicated questions but also cares for the student and tries to help with their problems. I had lessons with Teresa for 3 months and every single lesson she was able to lift up my confidence and she was very understanding whenever I had trouble understanding and she would repeat things until I finally managed to understand them. Moreover, we would often think together how to solve exam questions and she would help me and explain step by step and when she didn`t know how to explain to me something she`d already explained before,should would take time after the lesson to e-mail me and make sure I understood it which was very helpful. Every lesson would prove me that it was a great choice as Teresa is a very nice, polite, organised and hard-working teacher with a lot of experience. She could solve every single question which assured me that she loves Maths and understands it 100%, clearly indicating she`s very professional at her job. I would personally recommend Teresa if you struggle with Maths a lot and even if you don`t, I`d still recommend her as she can explain every bit and is always prepared for the lesson and on time. She has been a great support to me and I`m sure she will be for you too.
