Lesson Information : I am currently taking bookings for a group I will be running to help boost Year 6 children in preparation for their maths SATs tests. The group will be no larger than six and is aimed at children who are struggling with the subject or who need to develop their confidence. I have carried out such groups before with a fantastic success rate and have found the small group set up to be ideal in providing children an enjoyable and stimulating environment in which to learn.

I have carried out such groups before with a fantastic success rate and have found the small group set up to be ideal in providing children an enjoyable and stimulating environment in which to learn.

Lesson Information : This group will help you understand what your child is learning at school and the methods they are being taught to use (often completely different to when we were at school!) In addition I will suggest activities that you can carry out with your child at home in the various areas of maths and will direct you towards tried and tested resources. The sessions will be packed full of activities and exercises that will help you to develop your own understanding and also equip you with lots of ideas to help you work with your children.
