I am an enthusiastic mathematician keen to help others understand the subject.
I spent 4 years at Lancaster University, researching the ozone hole in climate models during my masters, and I have a 2:1 BSc in Mathematics. Since then I have taught GCSE maths as an unqualified teacher in a school and privately tutored at both GCSE and A-level.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have always been keen to help others conquer mathematics. Throughout my school life I helped friends and those seated near me in class whenever they wanted, often offering a different explanation than the one the teacher had given. I also worked at a Lower School in Bedfordshire for work experience, helping the children with maths, reading and anything else they needed. Since then I have worked with groups of friends and fellow students to solve problems at university. I am enthusiastic to help others understand mathematics as it is often considered a challenge, and as I am passionate about the subject I wish to share this enthusiasm with others.
