Friendly and encouraging Masters student available to tutor online.

Currently I am studying towards an MSc in Statistics and I have already obtained a first class undergraduate degree in the Maths. Prior to this I studied Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics at A level.

At the moment I am available to tutor Maths at KS3 and GCSE level.

The first session involves discussing what you would like to gain from these sessions going forward and what format of tutoring you are looking for. This could involve helping with past papers or addressing specific areas of weakness, or having a more structured approach to sessions where I plan out topics to cover.

This initial discussion allows me to prepare resources for future sessions and also learn what I should focus on to most benefit the student.

I am friendly, patient and flexible, so I am able to meet the needs of different students to allow them gain the most from their sessions.

Experience: I have experience teaching GCSE Maths in person and online, and from this I understand that in additional to helping a student understand material, students may also need help improving their confidence with the subject. By encouraging students and highlighting their progress I am able to build their confidence which can allow them to better display their knowledge and ability.
