I am currently a PhD student at Loughborough University, working towards a PhD in Engineering within Regenerative Medicine. I completed my undergraduate degree at Loughborough, gaining a 1st class MEng (Hons) degree in Product Deign Engineering. This was a mix of mechanical, manufacturing and design work. I studied at Bromley High School GDST to gain my GCSE`s and A-Levels listed, and I also gained a technology award and university sponsorship upon leaving.
I have been at Loughborough for over 6 years, working towards my high first class MEng qualification. I have studied many topics through this course that relate back to my keen interest in Design Technology and Mathematics - from financial analysis to manufacturing management. I have industrial experience as part of my degree - I worked for 13 months as a technical production engineer at Bentley Motors, looking specifically at making their veneer manufacturing processes more efficient.
I am a hardworking individual that enjoys learning and solving problems to improve situations. I am going on to complete a PhD within Manufacturing Engineering in Regenerative Medicine in October 2015.

I have relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment and also within metrology and I am also a STEM ambassador, visiting schools to tell the students more about the opportunities a Design Technology route can open up.
