I offer tuition in Biology to A level. I have taught A level Biology (AQA exam board) at a secondary school in Banbury for 9 years. In the past I have given undergraduate tutorials for the University of Oxford. I am patient and treat each student as an individual, and look to work with them to strengthen their understanding of the subject. In our introductory meeting we can discuss where there may be problem areas so that we can agree on your requirements from the tuition.
Availability: I tutor on Tuesday and Wednesday after school and evenings, but I currently have no availability

Experience: In my previous job, I taught Biology to A level, and GCSE Science, Additional Science and Further Additional Science. I have also taught BTEC Application of Science Level 2. Before moving into teaching I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Plant Biochemistry at the University of Oxford (where I did some undergraduate tutoring), and at a research institute in Warwickshire.

Mary has been fantastic with my daughter, tutoring her in Biology `A` level over the last year. She has really improved her confidence in the subject and helped her understand and get to grips with key topics that she was finding difficult. The sessions have made a big difference to my daughters performance in the subject and she has really enjoyed her sessions with Mary.
