I am a 24-year-old English Language and Literature graduate from Oxford University, where I graduated with a 2,1. I also have a Masters degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics.

I have been accepted to be a Teach First English teacher for September 2019 in a secondary school, and in the meantime I will be tutoring, alongside working for and volunteering in charities.

I love sport, music, dogs, and cooking, and am friendly and organised.

Availability: I am very available, particularly midweek. Weekends are possible, but only if weekday afternoons and evenings are impossible.

Experience: I have extensive formal tutoring experience in the London area over the past two years in Eng lit and lang, and university applications.
I have had experience in secondary school English classrooms in West London as an observing teacher, and I have taught English, Science, and Maths in schools in Kenya and Kathmandu at primary school level. I also taught street children English in Kenya.
I have a degree in English Literature and Language, and have had tutoring myself so understand its benefits. I have edited many personal statements, and have done mock interviews for Oxbridge applicants.
I completed a rigorous application process for Teach First, and will start in September 2019 as a senior school teacher.
I am a certified tennis coach, and have taught children from 6 to 18. I taught tennis for four months in California, living in the accommodation with the children, so am very used to managing children.
