I have been teaching for the last 3 years and have obtained my teaching qualifications through the route of Teach First. This route allowed me to be in a classroom from day one and learn on the job. This experience has enabled me to understand the root cause of teaching inequalities and learning gaps. The school I have taught in is an outstanding school that has high expectations for progress and teaching standards. I have taught in Year 3, the oldest year of the school at the time organizing the curriculum and teaching resources from a fresh. I have two years of experience in Year 1. I have a clear understanding of the year 1 assessment, the Phonics Screening Check, and the understanding of SAT`s expectations ready for Year 2. In addition, I am an experianced Maths and English tutor for the last 5 years. I have delivered tuition for students across KS1 and KS2 children. I pride myself in creating positive, professional relationships with my student’s ensuring progression in academia, confidence, and their love towards learning.
