Information about Adanna
I have 14 years experience as a highly qualified, highly experienced English teacher, Deputy Head of English and Whole School Literacy Coordinator with a record of delivering outstanding teaching (as judged by Ofsted, senior colleagues and external assessors) across various London schools.
I also gained the rare and highly respected Advanced Skills Teacher accreditation in recognition of consistently outstanding teaching, mentoring and training of colleagues in my own schools and beyond.
I tailor my lessons to individual learning styles and needs, creating a positive atmosphere that puts leaners at ease and allows them to develop their confidence and ability.
I specialise in teaching creative writing in a way that develops essential academic skills, whilst embedding key cross-curricular skills of creative thinking, confidence, resilience, self-expression, emotional intelligence and all round wellbeing.
I am also very experienced in teaching across the range of English skills and competencies, including providing tailored support for general
improvement as well as exam preparation.
