Hi!

My background includes a first class honours degree in Psychology as well as a Masters in Criminal Psychology. I have worked in the field of Psychology in a number of areas including a Youth offending team, Prison, Police and a Domestic violence refuge and then decided to go into teaching to share my passion for Psychology with others.

Availability: Available weekday evenings and weekends. Weekends preferable

Experience: I have taught Psychology for the last five years! I have taught both in the state and private sector and currently teach in the private sector. I am currently Head of Psychology at a prestigious independent school in London achieving 100% A*-B grades. I have also taught both AQA and OCR Psychology exam boards.

I have been consistently rated outstanding during my teaching career by a number of official bodies including Challenge partners, Ofsted and ISI. I also was selected for the oustanding teacher program- upon completion I then coached other teachers to improve their teaching practice.

I have been especially commended on my ability to build rapport with young people, create high levels of engagement and inspire students whilst nurturing their love for Psychology! In addition, my experience in teaching involves a number of management opportunities including Head of Year 11 and GCSE’s where I implemented a number of successful strategies to improve GCSE outcomes thus I am extremely experienced in ensuring exam success and supporting students to achieve their best.
