Information about Kathryn

I am a GCSE Maths teacher and second in department in Dewsbury. I have taken on a small number of tutoring clients for friends/friends of friends in the past few years and really enjoyed the time and so decided to offer my services up on a wider scale. Due to working full time, I only take a small number of clients each year - I apologise if this means I can’t help at the moment.
Mathematics is my passion, and spreading that joy to my students is always the aim.

Availability: Most evenings and weekend mornings.
Due to COVID 19, I am happy to work with students remotely if this suits us both.

Experience: I have a First Class Degree in Mathematics and completed a PGCE after 3 years working as a Trainee Actuary. I have been teaching in Wakefield and Kirklees for the past 5 years, and am now working as second in department. Over this time I have taught both GCSE and A Level, including Level 2 Further Maths & Level 3 Core Maths qualifications.

Kathryn has been a brilliant tutor with a wealth of subject knowledge. My son feels stretched and challenged all the way through. He is preparing for the board exams and a tutor like Kathryn is just what he needs. Punctual and organised ; would highly recommend Kathryn.
