I studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) before training to become a secondary English teacher with Teach First. I obtained my `outstanding` QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE with distinction in 2016.

I taught English at an Academy in Edgware for 3 years before moving to teach in Queens Park, where I have been for four years now. Consequentially, I know the new 9-1 specification in great depth and have taught both AQA and Edexcel.

My Yr11 class who first took this new exam in 2017 achieved an average of 4 `levels of progress`. In real terms, this means my pupils achieved an average of one grade higher than they were predicted to. Additionally, 7 students achieved the new Level 9 grade, which was awarded to only the top 3% of candidates nationally.

As well as being an experienced teacher, I am an examiner for Edexcel and have marked thousands of exam answers for the new GCSE Language exams since 2017. This has afforded me extensive training and insight into how to succeed in this new specification.
