I am a career teacher of biology having started teaching in 1984. I have taught in schools throughout this time and have a broad experience of teaching 13 to 18 year olds. I have taught at all levels including Oxbridge entrance, A2, AS, IB, IGCSE and GCSE. I have been described as one of the best teachers in a school I taught in and my pupils tell me that they appreciate my clear and supportive style of teaching. I have taught on Easter revision courses and have done one to one tutoring as well as online work. A lot of my work now is giving online sessions with an excellent platform that tutees really appreciate. I am very experienced in preparing pupils for examinations and have long experience of knowing what examiners are looking for by way of answers to examination questions. I now specialise in online teaching but would consider face to face work. I feel confident that it would be hard to find a better or more experienced biology tutor!

My Son has been very happy with the A level Chemistry tuition. Rod is very patient, friendly and will make sure the subject is understood with detailed explanation. He also takes the time outside of the lesson to consider. I would definitely recommend Rod.
