Information about Sarah
I am an experienced GCSE and A level maths (and further maths) teacher currently working part-time with the Open University. I work to increase students` confidence in their own ability not just explain things.
A recent student`s mother says: My daughter Martha struggled with A levels Maths, scoring D in her mocks exams at JAGS, and had practically given up on the subject. Without Sarahs calm, incisive and measured tutoring, she would never have scored the incredible A that she gained in her final exam. Each lesson, she came fully prepared, comprehensively covered all the topics that needed covering and week-by-week gave Martha the confidence and self-belief that led to her remarkable achievement. We could not recommend Sarah more highly.
Availability: Most times except Mondays after 5
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: 20 years teaching maths at all levels to adults but especially A level, including A level further maths, and first-year undergraduates.

I got in touch with Sarah to help me re-learn school level maths I needed to support the corporate finance module of my MBA. I was under time pressure, stressed and frustrated that I was struggling. Sarah was super patient, flexible & reliable about times to meet and went above and beyond even reading ahead on my corporate finance modules to ensure we worked on maths techniques that supported by other MBA work. I passed my corporate finance exams and I`m so grateful to Sarah as I couldn`t have done it without her. I highly recommend her.
