I specialise in primary English, having been identified as an outstanding skills teacher for this subject. I use fun and innovative methods and involve parents during the session so they can continue to coach their child correctly between sessions. I guarantee to improve English and Maths levels within 2 months. I teach all subjects to Year 6 level and English to GCSE and A-Level.
I guarantee that I will improve your child`s level in English writing, reading, comprehension and maths. Furthermore I tailor every lesson specifically to each child, using my experience to find the key that unlocks their understanding and also their enthusiasm for the subject. By getting one parent actively involved in the lesson as a parallel learner, I not only accelerate your child`s improvement during the session, but also provide you with the tools to bridge and re-enforce this new learning between sessions.

Availability: I currently have some availability for online lessons most days, with the exception of Thursday and Saturday.

Experience: 15 Years experience as a class teacher in a variety of classroom settings. I was identified as an advanced skills teacher for English and behaviour management. I delivered training on both English and behaviour management within a number of boroughs and also specialised in working with autistic children.
Due to my OFSTED grading, I was selected by the British council to be one of its ambassadors of English Education, visiting schools in China and demonstrating how we teach in the UK.
After becoming a deputy headteacher I left the profession to pursue a career in writing and have now founded my own English language based editing website and online portal. In addition, I have ghostwritten a number of books and am currently writing for a number of publications.
