I am a very passionate and experienced teacher and tutor (see experience details below).
I am currently studying towards a Masters Degree in Specific Leerning Diffixulties: Dyslexia, which will qualify me as a specialist dyslexia teacher and assessor in addition to my teaching qualification.
I am friendly,patient and flexible and believe in forming positive relationships with students so that their learning thrives. I also believe in supporting parents to understand how best to support their children`s learning and will always provide feedback and advice at the end of sessions.
Availability: I am available after 10am on Saturday mornings and any time on Sunday mornings

Experience: I am a successful, experienced, fully qualified Primary School Teacher, having taught across all Key Stages for 12 years. In more recent years, I have worked as an Inclusion Teacher, specialising in teaching small groups of children across all abilities to plug gaps in their learning in English and Mathematics.
I have been a Private Tutor for 3 years, enhancing children`s knowledge, skills and understanding across the primary age range, including:
Successfully preparing children for their SATs, including the Greater Depth Standard.
Working with children with Dyslexia, improving spelling and reading using proven Dyslexia friendly strategies.
Regularly providing feedback and advice to parents and carers.
Enhancing mathematical skills using a range of practical resources and problem solving activities.
I believe in a personalised approach to teaching, and as such, all children receive a bespoke series of lessons geared towards their specific needs.
