I am a qualified, experienced teacher and First Class Honours graduate with a PGCE from the prestigious Institute of Education. Before becoming a teacher I worked in a variety of fields in the public and private sectors.

I have a calm, approachable manner and am very knowledgeable about Politics. I teach the current Edexcel specification and have particular familiarity with the UK, US and Political Ideas topics.

Availability: Weekdays and Weekends for online tutoring.

Experience: I have worked in both the state and private education sectors and am currently working at a respected independent institution in Cambridge. I have tutored numerous A-Level students and have received very good feedback for my approach to tutoring.

I have experience of examining for Edexcel (Government and Politics).

I can also offer support with AQA Sociology.

I have found Gavin to be an excellent tutor. He has a very calm and reassuring manner and arrives for each lesson organised and armed with many study resources that I use when revising. We have many conversations which are thought provoking and improve my understanding of the issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an A level Politics tutor.
