Information about Karen
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher, teaching every subject at primary level. I have taught in several different year groups across KS1 and KS2. I am a passionate, enthusiastic and patient teacher. I believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience for all children and am able to cater lessons for each individual learner, in order for them to reach their full potential.
Availability: Evenings and Saturdays

Experience: After graduating with a BSc Psychology degree, I went on to work as a teaching assistant working with children with special education needs for two years. Having discovered my passion for teaching I then went on to complete my PGCE in Primary Education. I am now in my fifth year of teaching, having taught in several year groups both in KS1 and KS2. I have taught in the London Boroughs of Brent and Ealing and have recently moved to the Hertfordshire area where I am now working in a KS1 class in a local school.

Karen has been helping our 7 years old only for a few weeks but we can already see the results! Our daughter is looking forward for her lessons now! )) She’s very kind and considerate, we would highly recommend her!

Karen is an excellent tutor. Her lessons are well prepared and delivered in a friendly and approachable style. My son has shown clear improvement both in understanding and confidence since Karen started with us and I would happily recommend Karen to any parent with a child in need of addiitonal maths support.
