Information about Elizabeth

I am a qualified Early Years teacher currently working in a Reception class. I am also Phonics Lead for my school.

I offer 1:1 or group Phonics sessions for 40 minutes to 1 hour to help children learn their sounds first, then boost reading confidence and then help improve pace and fluency of reading. Being able to read goes hand in hand with writing; I am able to help improve writing skills by teaching the basics of writing and then moving on to more complex writing.

I follow the programme Read, Write Inc to help boost reading skills and with my three years experience I have seen great progress being made with this programme.

I charge £25 per hour. As I am a primary teacher, I am only able to offer evenings on weekdays and mornings on weekends. Please contact me if you’re interested.
