Are you concerned that your son/daughter seems to be spending huge amounts of time on art coursework or their exam prep? Are you worried that the amount of time they spend on their art is not resulting in the grades they aspire to? I understand how to feed your child`s creativity whilst giving them a secure understanding of the mark criteria that generates their grade. I can teach your child to work smart, this will allow them time to refine their work. Refinement is the key to the unlocking their potential and grades.

Availability: Monday to Friday. Afternoons and some evenings.

Experience: I have 20 years of experience teaching GCSE and A level artists. My results are typically above targets.
GCSE and A level artists possess the enthusiasm and the creativity to want to achieve. I can use that motivation to gain them results which means they are not only working hard, but working smart. I will feed their creativity whilst encouraging them to find a visual language that is unique to them. I will find your child`s strength and base my teaching on my discoveries, be it in the use of application of materials critical studies or sketchbook craft. However I will also have a keen eye on how their time is used within each assessment objective. This will allow them the time to refine their work. This is the key to high level results at both GCSE and A level.
I have vast amounts of experience of marking, exam assessment, assessment for learning, moderation, devising schemes of work across both GCSE and A level. They will have access to my extensive Pintrest account as well as the many support materials I have created.
