Caspar

Hi, I`m Caspar, a recent Oxford graduate with a first class BA in History and French.

I offer exam-focussed preparation for the following exams:

- Pre-GCSE (French and Maths)
- GCSE (French and Maths)
- A level (French)
- Oxbridge/university preparation/personal statements/interviews (any arts degree, but with specialisms in History and Modern Languages).

I am also able to offer curriculum enrichment activities for ambitious students, comprehensive notes for CIE IGCSE and Pre-U History, and model answers for GCSE French and German oral exams.

Having recently achieved top grades at GCSE and A Level, I understand the skills and knowledge required to succeed in those exams. I am patient, encouraging and customer-focussed, tailoring my tutoring services to the ability and learning style of each individual pupil.

My academic background:

- 10 A* grades at GCSE.
- 5A*s at A Level / Pre-U in History, French, German, Maths and Further Maths, with an A in AS Level Latin.
- First class BA in History and French from Oxford University. My 12,000-word undergraduate thesis was awarded the Richard Cobb prize for being the highest-marked thesis on European History in my cohort, and is soon to be published by Oxford University Press in the journal "French History".

Availability: I am able to offer online only lessons at the following times:

Monday-Friday evenings (5pm-8pm)
Weekends (7am-noon)

Experience: I have been tutoring on and off for six years in my spare time.
