I`m a PhD student and undergraduate teaching tutor in philosophy at King`s College London. I`m interested in all areas of philosophy and politics and am available to tutor from A-Level through to taught masters degree (MA) level in philosophy. I can tailor tuition to meet specific needs, for example preparing for a particular A-Level syllabus or BA degree module exam. My emphasis is always on helping students develop critical thinking skills so they can go on to excel on their own in the future. When I`m not studying I enjoy rock climbing and sailing. Experience: I`m a PhD student in philosophy at King`s College London (2011-). I also completed my MPhil (2009) and BA (2005) degrees in philosophy at King`s. I was awarded first class honours for my BA and I won AHRC research scholarships for both my MPhil and PhD degrees. In addition, I won the graduate tutor award in the philosophy department in 2010 and came runner up the following year in 2011. These awards were based on student nominations. I have taught undergraduate tutorials and seminars in philosophy at King`s since 2007. My specialisms are ethics, political philosophy, metaphysics and philosophy of mind. I have taught all year groups on the BA degree from first year introductory general philosophy seminars to third year dissertation tutorials. I have also run seminars and workshops for GCSE and A-Level students preparing for university at various schools in and London and the South East. I really enjoy teaching philosophy to all age groups.
