I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher with more than 6 years teaching experience across the primary age range. I love working with children and adults to achieve their potential and helping them to love learning. I have worked with children with a range of special educational needs, including dyslexia and dyscalculia, so know how to adapt my teaching to help them achieve.

I prepare lessons that are engaging and fun, while being fully tailored to my student`s needs. The joy of personalised tuition is that it can be tailored to fit individual interests, so I often include games and other activities that my student will enjoy while targeting their individual learning needs.

Experience: I have an in-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum from Year 1 to Year 6, so can provide English and Maths tuition alongside school learning throughout the year or in a more targeted way for specific exams, including SATs preparation for KS1 and KS2. I am able to tutor other subjects across the primary age range and into Key Stage 3 - please ask! With a degree in Spanish and Italian, I also offer language tuition at beginner and intermediate levels for children and adults.

The first session will include a discussion to establish what you want to achieve through tutoring and some relaxed activities to give me an idea of our starting point. I will then tailor sessions to build confidence and raise attainment, continually adapting depending on my student`s needs.
