Information about Lewis
Having just completed an MSci in Mathematics and Physics at Durham University, I am currently enrolled on an MASt in Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge with the intention of pursuing a PhD thereafter. Throughout my studies, I have consistently honed my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner. This skill is vital for ensuring a tutee can develop their own understanding and is a core component of any successful tutoring session.
All my tutoring sessions will follow this simple and effective plan:
1) Identify an area of weakness these can either be suggested by the tutee, highlighted by past papers, or carried over from previous sessions.
2) Improve understanding of that topic here I give a crash course to equip the tutee with the necessary tools for the next stage.
3) Practice the new skills an essential stage to consolidate learning where I assist the tutee in tackling some practice questions.
4) Recap in the next session starting with some practice questions from previously covered material ensures long-term retention.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends 9am 6pm UK time.

Experience: I started tutoring 4 years ago, in my first year of university, and since then I have tutored students both online and in-person. I have experience in tutoring students from GCSEs to A-levels across a range of abilities. So far, I have received positive feedback from my tutees, and I have thoroughly enjoyed helping them achieve their goals.
