I mentor children through the 11+/entrance exams, working through verbal and non-verbal reasoning, Maths and English. My students have gained places at Dame Alice Owen, STAHS, St Albans School, Haileybury, Queenswood and more.

I also teach English from year 1 to GCSE and maths up to year 8 (to account for the transition to KS3).

I also volunteer at my local secondary school once a week mentoring year 11’s.

I have a friendly, fun approach and enjoy getting to know my students well. It is vital to me that they feel supported; I put a great emphasis on their well-being, incorporating mindfulness techniques into my lessons when needed.

Experience: I left my job in an SEN school to pursue tutoring full time. I have worked with children with a range of conditions including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ASD and developmental delay. Having an autistic brother, I grew up knowing the stresses of getting a child with additional needs through school. This has motivated me to get into education and help others to reach their full potential.

I have a DBS certificate.

I have a BSc in Geography, and all GCSE’s grade A*-C. I am also currently studying for a diploma in Educational Psychology.
