Information about Zaki
I am a second-year student studying Accounting and Finance at The London School of Economics (3rd best university in the UK). I am always reminded that I am an approachable and warming person, which allows the student to relax and ask any questions they have without feeling embarrassed. I am so confident in my ability to teach and help the student surpass his goal that if the student does not like the first session, or does not want to continue lessons with me, I will offer a full refund instantly. So why no try me? :)
I don`t believe there is ``one`` way to teach a kid; every kid is different and thus learns differently. Therefore, in the first session, I will listen to the student closely and build a rapport (relation) with them. This will allow me to understand my student more, discuss and build the perfect revision guide he needs to not only achieve his goal but surpass it. I have done this technique with others, and it is working very successfully so you can be assured.
I have achieved A*-As in the subjects I teach in both GCSE and A-Level. Also having achieved 78% (high first-class grade) in Mathematics in my first year at university further demonstrates my ability at Mathematics.
Availability: During the summer (now) I am very flexible and available most times. Just ask!
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I tutor my sister and her friends. Through my weekly tuition, my sister is going to sit her Mathematics GCSE confidently in year 10 and is set on getting a grade 9. Furthermore, at my time in University, I tutored a first-year LSE student for statistics, where he achieved 83%! This is significantly high, allowing him to achieve a first-class grade and indeed one of the highest marks in that module in a top institute. These are just a few examples of my personal tutoring journey. In addition, I was a teacher assistant at Rotunda & Stadium Youth & Community Centre. It is a centre where the most troubling students are sent for rehabilitation purpose. This makes me believe I can work with any student, ranging from high to low ability students.
