Hello! Calling all exhausted homeschoolers!
Parents and Carers, you`ve done a great job these last few months, but it is the Summer Holidays... time to take a break and call in a professional!
Get your child ready for September and beyond and with a friendly face to help build confidence and core skills in Literacy and Numeracy!
I have loads of experience working with children both inside and outside the classroom, including activity camp leader at summer camps and a full time Graduate Tutor at Primary SchooI in Orpington. I have a BA hons in Geography from University of Portsmouth and A Levels in Maths, English Language and Geography. I have full DBS and will be starting my teacher training to become a Primary School Teacher from September so will be available evening/weekends/holidays.I am free all summer to help get your children prepared to make the step to the next year group! Experience: I have a wealth of experience working with children both inside and outside the classroom, including activity camp leader at summer camps, a live in Au-Pair in Australia and a full time Graduate Tutor at Primary SchooI in Orpington.
My main responsibility as a Graduate Tutor was to work with children in years 5 and 6 to ensure they met their full potential in all subjects. I spent a lot of time delivering targeted group interventions, based on English/Maths topics individuals did not fully understand. I would break the topic down and complete practice exercises until their understanding has improved. I would plan structured writes with groups in English and use questioning to probe ideas out of the children and help them to articulate these onto paper. I am knowledgeable and confident at teaching KS1/KS2 curriculum, in core Maths/English skills.

I am currently tutoring a child for KS2 English to consolidate her knowledge in all areas of grammar and punctuation in preparation for her SATS.
