I`m a highly qualified professional English teacher with QTS and I have taught in outstanding grammars and comprehensives in Warwickshire with excellent track records of academic success.

English Literature and especially Shakespeare is my specialism. After achieving double A* in my GCSE Literature and Language, I went on to gain a very high A at A-Level, then onto my undergraduate degree. After gaining my BA, I gained a Masters and research degree during my postgraduate study at The Shakespeare Institute.

I teach all the secondary Key Stages, and I have had experience of teaching both A-Level syllabi and the IB Diploma. I have experience of supporting Sixth Form students with their UCAS statements as well as writing references for them.

My creativity, articulacy, excellent and wide ranging subject knowledge and good humour have been highlighted consistently as great strengths by my colleagues. I love my subject and wish to share that joy with students.

** Due to the Covid 19 outbreak and having regard to the social distancing measures, I am conducting all tutoring via Skype. If your child is off school and you would like to ensure that they do not fall behind with their GCSE or A Level English content, then I could tutor them during the day to keep their focus and momentum going with 1-2-1 sessions.**

Experience: I have worked in two high achieving state comprehensives and a grammar school, all within the West Midlands. I have coached current students of all secondary ages one-on-one with essay and exam technique, and assisted with revision approaches for those nearing GCSE and A-Level exams.
