I am a dedicated and passionate Head of Social Sciences. I teach GCSE and A Level Sociology (both AS and A2) in an inner London secondary school where my students can range from SEN students to students where English may not be their first language. I have also introduced Criminology to my department and have had successful results with controlled assessments and examined units. I create my own schemes of work within my department and I am always looking for ways to develop and to make my resources the best for the children I teach. My knowledge on mark schemes for exams has been enhanced as I am an examiner for AQA in the summer where I mark GCSE Sociology papers. This enables me to help children to structure essay and exam style questions in the way that is needed to obtain top marks.
