My name is Naomi, I am a qualifies primary school teacher.
I offer private tuition for ages 5 to 11 in Putney and surrounding areas (Fulham, Wandsworth, Wimbledon and Richmond). I can come to you but also offer classes from my home in Putney.
I’m experienced teaching English and Maths. I can also assist with any other foundation subject.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate. My Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) was graded ‘outstanding’. Teaching qualification available to view on request.

Availability: I am a full time tutor. My availability is week day daytimes and evenings. I also offer weekend daytimes.

Experience: I’ve worked as a Key Stage 1 class teacher with children of mixed abilities. I also have experience teaching Key Stage 2 (Year 4). I’ve taught in state and private schools.
I was responsible for a class where 70% of pupils had special educational needs. This experience means I’m confident tailoring my lessons to suit all abilities.
From my experience planning and teaching lessons, I’ve developed a cross-curricular, fun and engaging teaching style. I get to know my pupils so I can use examples and material they enjoy. I believe learning should be exciting and practical with minimal use of worksheets.
High-quality teaching isn’t something you can simply download and print off from the internet!
