Information about Penny
I am a PhD qualified tutor, with over 6 years of tutoring experience in English, Creative Writing and other subjects in the Humanities. I have three degrees from King`s College London: BA in English, MA in Philosophy and PhD in English. I am 29 years old, and I remember what it is like to struggle with subjects at school. Everyone owes their education to the close attention of a teacher, and it`s thanks to my tutors that I have achieved my academic success and my success as a published poet. I tutor because I want to give students the opportunity to overcome anxieties or barriers, and to realise their potential.
I have worked with GCSE SEN learners, adult learners developing English as a foreign language, individuals creative writers and A-Level students, and many more. Get in touch and let`s see if I can help!

Disappointed. Paid for the details and 1st appointment, (as we wished to get started with the tuition as soon as possible) and added a little extra towards the travel (our choice). The tutor arrived and we were pleased with the session. Penny appeared to get on well with our daughter and a plan of how they would progress discussed. However, the following day we received a message from Penny saying she had secured full time work and could not continue with the tuition. She arranged to provide one more lesson- as a gesture of good will, but before the lesson was due cancelled it advising us she was unwell. She also informed us that due to her new work she would be unable to provide that lesson any more. Total costs therefore were expensive for one lesson and our time was wasted as we then had to start looking for a Tutor again when our priority was to provide our daughter with support as soon as possible.

Cant fault Penny, she is everything you would want from a tutor for your child.
