Due to covid, I will be taking on only a quarter of my usual amount of students. Do you want to be part of my very tiny bubble?

With the current situation I am happy to teach online using skype and we can have lessons in your homes if that is viable. (With good hygiene and practises I believe that we can be safe.)

I am bright, positive and encouraging in lessons and help students gain knowledge and the skills to tackle school and exams with more confidence. All my students have achieved an improved grade (up to 4 above predicted) and achieved the grades they needed!

Things I am currently working on with my students; increasing personal reading; improving grammar and learning specific higher level vocab; creative writing (an exam requirement); and the occasional exam practise question.

I am also offering an exam marking service, where I provide the mock exam and predicted grade.

Availability: Monday and Tuesday afternoons

Experience: I taught English Language and English Literature for 10 years in Italy for the British school of Florence and returned to the UK a few years ago.

I have since taught Key Stages 2, 3 & 4 English Literature & English Language at a Tutorial School in London and worked as a Cover Supervisor in a local Primary School where I taught all subjects and year groups.

I currently specialize in getting students ready for their English Literature and Language GCSE`s.
