I have a First Class BA History and Politics degree from the University of York and was awarded a Distinction in my Masters from the University of Manchester. I am particularly interested in theories of governance, democracy and political economy. I also studied a broad range of historical topics including: the USA, Britain in the 19th century and 20th century Global History. I am extremely passionate about my subjects as I find them genuinely interesting, and tutor in order to help people achieve their highest potential.

I was part of the first cohort to take the reformed A-Level examinations in 2017, and have also completed my undergraduate degree amid the Covid-19 circumstances.

I provide a friendly, diligent and patient approach to tutoring. Sessions are designed to be informal and discussion led in order to build students` confidence in contribution and asking questions. A study plan will be created from the outset to ensure tutoring sessions are tailored around individual needs. I am a proponent for setting realistic, achievable, targets as this is the best method to seeing progress (that continues!).

I am able to provide tips and guidance on achieving the top grades; from exam question assistance and essay writing to time management.

Availability: I am able to do lessons of 1 hour per session. I tutor online via zoom.
