I`m a qualified engineer and a natural teacher. Years of experience working with all sorts of people allow me to create an environment perfect for learning, rather than just making the session into like yet another dull maths lesson. I currently am tutoring A-level and GCSE maths, and am happy to go down to KS2 in preperation for secondary school applications.

We will work out where you are at right now, identify areas that need work, then rather than just having concepts explained to you, you will see the full benefit of one to one sessions through targeted questions and gentle nudges in the right direction. The best learning will always be through doing, rather than from being lectured.

Availability: I am available evenings and weekends.

Experience: I currently tutor in a school, assisting struggling children achieve their goal of 5 GCSE level 4-9 results. I also tutor AS level maths with my first Tutor Hunt student.

In secondary school, helping friends in lessons when the teacher wasn`t getting through or had their hands full with other students. In university helping friends understand not just mathematics but everything from engineering principals to how to use CAD programs and program simulations. And at work, when mentoring placement students to develope their skills so they can be productive engineers.
