I am an experienced tutor living in East London. I graduated from Warwick University with a degree in Accounting and Finance and am currently studying a professional qualification in Law and Business before I start training as a lawyer. I undertake affordable, at-home private tuition across London and can help your son or daughter with their studies. My methods are tailored to each student, and I am to create a friendly, encouraging and supportive learning environment to help students to excel.

I want to help students who are struggling or need that extra bit of support to achieve a top grade. I have some formal teaching experience but have also spent numerous hours helping friends and younger siblings, explaining concepts clearly and remaining patient and enthusiastic. I have a strong desire to help using what I know and provide the support that I was lucky to receive in my education.
A tutor is often called upon where a student may not feel they are getting what they need from the school classroom and so my role is incredibly important. My style involves building up the student`s confidence, explaining topics calmly but repeatedly using a method that suits the student (e.g. using diagrams or physical props) and testing his/her knowledge gradually so that they feel comfortable in explaining what they learnt back to me. Getting to this stage is crucial in them being able to solve problems independently and being confident in their approach which is what is required in exams.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss further.
