I am a passionate, professional and enthusiastic teacher who is inspired by making a positive impact on children`s learning and progression. I have a detailed understanding of the primary curriculum, assessment and the expectations of children when they leave primary school. In addition, I have an in-depth understanding of the importance of differentiating work to either support or challenge children.

Experience: I have been working as a full-time primary school teacher for the past 9 years and 4 of those years were spent teaching in Year 6, which has given me an excellent understanding of the expectations of children for SATs and when they leave primary school.
In addition, I have been tutoring children (one-to-one) from the ages of 5-11 for the past 2 years.

Leigh has been working hard with my 8 year old daughter with Reading and Spelling and we are seeing a lot of improvement. Leigh is always punctual and has a lovely manner about the way she teaches. I would highly recommend her.

Leigh has been tutoring my son in English over the last month. She is very professional and has a real interest in developing my son’s skills. She is always on time and prepares thoroughly for their sessions. My son loves his time with her. Since they have started working together he has developed an interest in English and tries his best. I highly recommend Leigh.
