Practising German prepositions

One of the trickiest things about German is the way in which different prepositions use different noun cases. A useful oversight, for printing out and memorizing:


Prepositions that always take the dative:

aus, au er, bei, gegen ber, mit, nach, seit, von, zu


Prepositions that always take the accusative:

bis, durch, entlang, f r, gegen, ohne, um


Prepositions that take either dative or accusative:

an, auf, hinter, in, neben, ber, unter, vor, zwischen
