I am a Student studying at Bradford University in my first year, reading Forensics and Medical Science.
My approach to tutoring will focus around finding and solving problem areas the tutee may have. During the preparatory lesson I will discuss with the student which problems, if any they have, and this will become the substance to the first few lessons. As these problems are solved we will explore the syllabus further to find any further issues and to reinforce the work done within school lesson time. Each lesson will usually consist of a walkthrough and explanation of the first question I will give, and how to answer it. The student will then be encouraged to try similar questions with less and less leadership from myself. Finally I expect all students to revise the work done within each tutoring session so that they will be prepared for a short test at the start of the next session to ensure they are keeping up to speed and problems do not start to reoccur.

Availability: Weekdays in the evenings and Weekends

Experience: In Poland I tutored chemistry for a while to 11-14 year olds, so I know how to organise and plan lessons and engage with the tutee. I also ran a study group at my school where we taught one another maths, chemistry, physics and biology. This means I am capable of explaining a problem and helping someone to find the solution with aid at first, and then alone.

Qualifications: In May 2011 I passed my IB(International Baccalaureate) Diploma receiving 37points, including 7 in Business and Management SL,English B HL 6 in Chemistry HL and Biology HL, and 5 in Maths SL and Polish A1 SL. I also took French B SL as additional subject and recived 6 in it.
