I am a Chinese who was born in Hong Kong and have been living there until 18 years old. Moved to London to study Graphic and Media design for 4 years. So I have been brought up in an international cultural background. Furthermore, I was in the Hong Kong Junior Fencing Team when I was younger, which also can be serve as a prove of persistency. I also have Grade 7 in piano.
I am very outgoing and open to opinions.
Availability: Everyday 9am - 9pm
Experience: I have started to be a private tutor for student from 8 years old to 18 years old, since I was 16, until I moved to UK to further my studies.
Every summer I went back to Hong Kong and my students would still like me to teach them for a few months even though they know it`s going to be short term.
I have also been an art teacher in a Learning Center for kids who are aged 2-6. Furthermore, I have taught children who have learning disability. Last summer, I went back to Hong Kong and taught 2 adults for Mandarin and Chinese Studies.
The most satisfying teaching experience I have had is help a boy who is aged 12, who doesn`t even know how to write Chinese and has never pass Chinese and Chinese History, to improve from fail to getting 75 and more in these subjects. I guess the satisfying point is not getting good marks only but he is more interested in Chinese and Chinese History which he hated most before.
