I am a friendly and patient tutor,interested in helping individuals achieve their best in exams and widen their appreciation of reading and writing.

I am also a creative person, knowledgeable about visual arts and the theatre and a published novelist.

Availability: Wednesday to Saturday inclusive.

Experience: I taught English literature, including critical theory, drama and media for fifteen years on degree courses and in adult education. For the past eight years, I have been teaching A-level and GCSE English at a sixth form college.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) in English and Comparative Literature
MA in Shakespeare Studies
PhD in Literature, specializing in Elizabethan drama
PGCE for post-sixteen education
