I have been teaching for over ten years, working mainly in primary schools although I have experience working with children from pre-school to GCSE level, including one to one tuiton.
Much of this time I have taught in Year 6 and therefore have in-depth knowledge and experience of preparing children for end of KS2 SATs although I am also happy and able to teach all subjects at primary level with enthusiasm or help those in KS3 who feel they need a little extra help.
I am now finding tutoring an ideal way to continue working as a teacher, which I love, while being a stay-at-home mum of two young children of my own.
I enjoy getting to know the children I teach so I can really tailor lessons to their needs and interests. Seeing children`s confidence improve as they progress is the best thing about my work!

Availability: Weekends.
Possibly evenings (depending on being able to sort out my own child care!)

Experience: Qualified teacher since 2000, teaching full time in KS2 for 11 years and 1 year experience of supply work in child care centres, primary and secondary schools.

Qualifications: BA Hons: Contemporary History with French and European Studies, University of Sussex
