I graduated in 2010 with a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences from University College London (UCL). My undergraduate research work has been chosen for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

I am now in the second year of the Postgraduate Dentistry course at UCLan. I achieved the joint highest mark in my first year of Dentistry. I am very friendly, approachable and understanding. I have very strong communication skills, strengthened further by my clinical experience from working with patients of all ages and learning capacities.

I like learning new languages and can speak elementary Mandarin and Persian. I love travelling and have a great interest in outdoor activities.

Experience: Before moving to the North West, I have taught students under 15 in London. I have also taught younger students in my family and the local area in London and they are now studying at top ranking London Universities.

I start by assessing the current level of understanding of the student. I agree a personalised plan and ways of assessing progress with the student. I ask students which method is most suitable for them and proceed accordingly.

I believe in understanding concepts, so that any questions or problems can then be put into context. Near exam time, I go through the same concepts again to ensure understanding and practice by using past exam papers.
